Diwali ki Shubhkamnayein, or Happy Diwali to you!  Diwali means “row of lamps” in Sanskrit. The festival marks the triumph of good over evil. Clay lamps, or diyas, traditionally filled with mustard oil, are lit on the night before the new moon, which this year was on 30th October.

This Diwali illuminated our office in all its brilliance and brought in the festive season with a special celebration.

Our employees lit up the room with their vibrantly colored clothing and room decorations to mark the occasion. They spent the lunch hour gaming and dining on traditional Indian food. It was a great way to share lots of laughs with our TWS family while honoring this ancient ritual.

It was a great day to bring in the special festival. Although it was great fun and games and there was a little planning for work involved for the rest of the week too at the back of most of our minds!

Have a look at some of the images from the day!
